ROSTOV-ON-DON, August 18 (RIA Novosti) - Drug police in south Russia's Rostov Region have seized 30 kilograms (66 pounds) of marijuana found in the dacha of a 51-year-old man.
During a search on the ground floor, "officers seize two plastic barrels containing marijuana - a total of 30 kg. Upstairs, they found a container with dried hemp, and in the fridge two jars of hashish," the regional drug police department said in a statement, without specifying when the seizure was made.
The owner of the dacha in the Rodiono-Nesvetayevsky District has been arrested along with two of his friends from Rostov-on-Don, who packaged and sold the drugs.
The three could face jail terms of up to 20 years.
