MOSCOW, August 25 (RIA Novosti) - Russian billionaire and Chelsea FC owner Roman Abramovich's girlfriend, Dasha Zhukova, is pregnant, a Russian daily said on Tuesday.
The news dominated a recent party of high-profile Russian figures on France's Cote d'Azur, Izvestia reported.
"Dasha Zhukova is really almost six months pregnant. The Zhukovs' family plans have been implemented successfully," the paper said.
Zhukova, 28, the ex of former world No. 1 tennis player Marat Safin, met Abramovich at a New Year's Eve party hosted by her father, a Russian oligarch, in 2006.
A former model, Zhukova is a fashion designer and runs the Garage contemporary art gallery in Moscow.
The child will be Zhukova's first but the sixth for Abramovich, who had five children with his ex-wife Irina, who he divorced in 2007.
Forbes magazine said earlier this month that Abramovich had ordered a 170-meter (557-foot) yacht, which will make him the owner of the world's largest yacht. He will reportedly spend between $300 million and $700 million on the new vessel, the Eclipse.
The billionaire's private fleet currently consists of three large yachts - the Pelorus, Sussurro and Ecstasea.
