MOSCOW, August 26 (RIA Novosti) - Six people were killed after an ageing Soviet-made An-12 cargo plane crashed on Wednesday some 20 km (12.5 miles) from the capital of Congo, Brazzaville.
Yevgeny Sokolov, the Russian consul in Brazzaville, said two Ukrainian citizens, two Congolese nationals and two Moldovans died in the accident.
"According to new information, six people died. Two citizens of Congo, who were escorting the cargo, and the crew of four - two Ukrainians and two Moldovans," Sokolov said.
He added that the aircraft belonged to the local Aero Fret Business air company and the cause of the accident was still unknown.
