NIZHNY NOVGOROD, August 29 (RIA Novosti) - Two people died and six others were injured on Saturday when a minibus and a truck collided in northeast Russia, a regional emergencies ministry spokesperson said.
The accident occurred early Saturday when a GAZelle minibus crashed into a Kamaz truck along a stretch of the Kirov-Syktyvkar highway in the Kirov Region.
"As a result of the road traffic accident two people were killed and six were injured - all of them were in the GAZelle," the spokesperson said.
The injured have been taken to local hospitals.
An investigation into the fatal crash has started.
