MEXICO, September 10 (RIA Novosti) - All passengers from a Mexican airliner, which was earlier reported to be hijacked, have been released and the alleged hijackers were detained, local television said on Wednesday.
According to earlier media reports, a Boeing-737 plane of Aeromexico airlines en route from Mexican resort town of Cancun to Mexico with 104 people on board, including passengers and crew, was hijacked by three Bolivian nationals.
The alleged hijackers demanded that they speak with President Felipe Calderon and threatened to blow up an explosive device on board the airliner.
