MOSCOW, September 24 (RIA Novosti) - Police in the Moscow Region are looking for a man accused of stealing 12 gold teeth, a laptop, money and jewelry, worth some 300,000 rubles ($10,000), from his girlfriend's flat, a police spokesperson said on Thursday.
The spokesperson said that a 24-year-old woman had invited her boyfriend to move in while her parents were away.
"The day her parents were due home, the boyfriend disappeared. While she was cleaning the flat the girl discovered that her parents' laptop was missing," Yevgeny Gildeyev said.
Later the young woman, along with her parents, discovered that it was not the only thing missing. Some 17,000 rubles ($564), jewelry, as well as 12 gold teeth had also disappeared.
The total loss has been put at more than 300,000 rubles ($10,000).
The boyfriend left his documents that allowed the police to quickly identify him as coming from Russia's southern Samara Region.
