KOROLYOV, October 11 (RIA Novosti) - The Russian manned Soyuz spacecraft carrying Russian cosmonaut Gennady Padalka, NASA astronaut Michael Barratt and space tourist Guy Laliberte undocked from the International Space Station in the early hours of Sunday and headed for Earth.
"The spacecraft crew and the space tourist are in good health and mood," a spokesman for the Mission Control Center in the city of Korolyov (Moscow Region) told RIA Novosti correspondent.
A spacecraft's reentry capsule is to land at 08:30 a.m. Moscow time (4:30 GMT) in the territory of Kazakhstan, Central Asia.
Belgian Frank De Winne, 48, was appointed new commander of the International Space Station, being the first European commander of the ISS. He will head a six-member crew until December 1.
Russian Roman Romanenko and Canadian Robert Thirsk will continue working at the station. American Nicole Scott is expected to stay at the station till the first mission of the U.S. shuttle.
Russian Maxim Surayev and American Jeffrey Williams, who is expected to become the next ISS commander, will join the station's crew.
