MOSCOW, October 16 (RIA Novosti) - A Russian man is suspected of brutally killing his 3-year-old nephew in the town of Reutov near Moscow, investigators said on Friday.
Alexei Medvedev, 26, is suspected of breaking the boy's neck and throwing him out of a 15th-floor window on Thursday. Investigators said he killed Afghan-born Khai Muhammad Ilyas Abdul Rob in rage as the child would not stop crying.
"The body was discovered on October 15 on the roof over an entrance to the house in Reutov where his family lives," the Investigation Committee said in a news release.
The suspect fled the scene, but was spotted and detained several hours later. Investigators are continuing to question him. He is facing murder charges with up to 20 years in prison or a life sentence.
