MOSCOW, October 31 (RIA Novosti) - One man was killed on early Saturday morning, when a car fell into the Yauza River in the northeast of the Russian capital, a police source said.
According to the source, some 20 minutes after the midnight the car drove through a barrier on Russakovskaya Embankment and plunged into the Yauza River, which is a left tributary of the Moscow River.
"The car was raised by a crane from the water and a dead body was discovered inside the vehicle," he said.
Several hours earlier, late on Friday night, another car rammed through a barrier on Lefortovskaya Embankment of the Yauza River and also plunged into the water, but the driver managed to get out of the car and emerged unhurt from the accident.
