NIZHNY NOVGOROD, November 8 (RIA Novosti) - Two people died and two others were injured following a rock slide in a cave in the Perm Territory in the Urals, the regional emergencies center said on Sunday.
A group of five speleologists went into the cave on Sunday morning when the rock collapsed. One person managed to escape. He told rescuers about the accident.
The rescue workers found the missing speleologists at a depth of 2 kilometers inside the cave.
The emergencies center said that one person had been hospitalized with brain injuries while the rescue workers were currently trying to recover one person who was in an unconscious condition and two bodies from the cave.
