The Yekaterinburg Zoo's new residents have come out to socialize after their isolation period. They were hidden from the public for a month before moving into their new homes.
The Weeper Capuchin monkeys came as a family: two adults and one infant. These South American monkeys were named for the noise they make, which sounds like crying children.
The bird population has also grown. The red-billed toucans have moved into the exotic bird pavilion, near the black-billed toucan, and the Toco toucan.
This is Yekaterinburg Zoo’s first red-billed toucan.
