ATHENS, November 30 (RIA Novosti) - A Greek vessel with 28 crew members on board has been hijacked off Somalia's east coast, a Coast Guard spokesman said.
"The vessel, owned by the Greek company Kristen Navigation, headed from Kuwait to the United States. The captain's aid said there were nine armed Somalis on board, and the vessel is heading towards Somalia's coast," the spokesman said.
He said nine Greeks, 16 Filipinos, two Ukrainians and one Romanian were on board the seized vessel, adding all the crew members were unharmed.
