MOSCOW, December 8 (RIA Novosti) - Police in Russia's Urals have detained a gang of skinheads on suspicion of the cold-blooded murder of a homeless man, regional media said on Tuesday.
Investigators say the attack on the 57-year-old vagrant took place on November 20 in the Chelyabinsk Region town of Kopeysk. The man was brought to hospital in a coma and died on December 3.
After questioning it was revealed that the suspects "had links to a skinhead movement," investigators say.
The group are believed to have set about the tramp at the town's main train station. The fatal blows to his head were dealt by a 16-year-old youth, investigators say.
