Rubin played in the Wednesday match without two key players — defender Roman Sharonov and forward Alexander Bukharov.
Both Rubin and Inter showed solid performances and created plenty of scoring opportunities throughout the game.
Inter's Samuel Eto'o and Mario Balotelli sealed the fate of the Russian team by scoring on the 31st and the 64th minutes of the game.
Barcelona with 11 points and Inter with 9 points will continue the battles in the knockout stages of the Champions League, while Dinamo Kiev with 5 points and the last pace in the group is out of major European competitions this season.
