Two unidentified persons stole 1.8 million rubles ($60,000) from an automatic teller machine at a customs academy in Vladivostok in the Russian Far East, local police said on Sunday.
Two masked robbers penetrated the academy's building through a window on Saturday and, threatening a security guard with a sporting gun, tied him up, opened the cash dispenser and made off with the money, the police said.
Police are investigating the incident and efforts are under way to detain the robbers, the police said.
