Unidentified assailants have beaten two women to death in southeast Moscow, the Russian Investigative Committee website reported on Monday.
"Around 2.25 Moscow time (GMT 23:25 Sunday) two unidentified Asian women, aged approximately 30 and 35 years, were found on the street with numerous head and body injuries," the statement says.
According to the statement, one of the victims died at the scene, another one was taken to a hospital in coma where she died later.
An investigation is ongoing and a criminal case was opened. If caught, the criminals could face up to 20 years imprisonment.
