Three people were killed and six injured when a butane gas tank exploded in a cafe in west Siberia on Tuesday.
The explosion occurred at 1:23 pm Moscow time at a cafe in central Tyumen, a city 2,130 km east of the Russian capital, Moscow.
The three fatalities occured at the scene of the blast and resulting blaze. According to Tyumen's emergency services, the victims were all employed at the cafe.
"According to preliminary information, the blaze occurred due to a butane tank explosion," an emergencies services spokesman said.
