One of this year’s themes is New Year trees representing Moscow Traditions.

The thematic trees will be put up where mass public events will be held in each administrative district, and information on important events in the district’s history will be posted on entrance ramps.

Toys on the New Year trees will also fit the Moscow Traditions theme.

Some 600 posters, 50 video screens and 75 banners have been used to decorate areas of special importance for the city’s New Year and Christmas celebrations.

Twelve super-sites (5x15m or 5x12.5m posters) have also been used, as well as more than 2,500 flags and banners.
