Police in Finland's southern city of Espoo have said the bodies of six people have been found in a shopping mall after a shooting spree earlier in the day, Finnish news agencies reported on Thursday.
The Ilta-Sanomat newspaper said a man wearing black clothes fired at least seven shots on the second floor of the mall. The incident took place at 10.20 a.m. local time (08:20 GMT).
The gunman, Ibrahim Shkupolli, 43, opened fire in the mall, killing three men and two women, one of whom is believed to be his ex-wife who worked at the Sello Shopping Center. The sixth body was reported to be that of Shkupolli, who committed suicide after the shooting.
Shkupolli's wife had a restraining order against her ex-husband.
All of the victims were between 45 and 27 years old.
FNB news agency quoted an employee at the shopping center as saying: "The criminal was dressed in a black overcoat, black pants and black hat. He gave the image that he knew what he was doing."
