MOSCOW, January 3 (RIA Novosti)to an issue with air traffic control in Dubai, not any technical problems, a representative of the airline said.
Ekho Moskvy radio station reported earlier that the Orenburg Airlines Boeing 737, which left the Urals city of Perm for Dubai on Sunday with 150 passengers on board, made an emergency landing in Iran because of a technical fault.
The radio station said the plane landed in Iran about 4 1/2 hours into the flight from Perm's Bolshoye Savino Airport. It added that the airport had confirmed the plane had made an unscheduled stop in Iran.
The airline said the passengers would be flown on to Dubai on Sunday.
"The passengers have been given water, and an external air conditioner has been hooked up. In the near future, the aircraft should fly to Dubai," the Orenberg airlines representative said.
