A fire broke out on Monday in a market in the city of Mytishchi outside Moscow, a Russian Emergencies Ministry spokesman said.
"Construction and paint materials sections are on fire in the territory of the Pirogovo market near the Mytishchi construction market," the spokesman said.
The fire, the second in a month, reportedly spread on the area of 2,000 square meters (21.527 square feet). Twenty firefighting detachments are involved in extinguishing the blaze.
The previous fire took place in the Pirogovo market on December 14. The blaze, which had been extinguished for seven hours, claimed three lives.
