The bodies of another three mountaineers caught in an avalanche in the Russian North Caucasus republic of Kabardino-Balkaria were found on Saturday, a local emergencies spokesman said.
One mountaineer was killed, four others have survived, and the other four have been missing after a nine-strong party climbing Mount Kashtan-Tau was swept by an avalanche on Friday.
The three bodies are being identified, and the search for the last missing mountaineer is ongoing.
Over 70 rescuers from Kabardino-Balkaria and the adjacent republics of Karachai-Circassia and North Ossetia are taking part in a rescue operation.
The threat of new avalanches persists.
