A jewelry shop owner from the Urals city of Chelyabinsk was sentenced to a 4,000-ruble ($135) fine for selling a silver cannabis pendant, local prosecutors said on Friday.
It was established that the Aurum jewelry shop was selling a silver pendant, featuring a marijuana leaf with a "CANN-A-BIS" inscription.
"The city's prosecutor has launched an administrative case against the shop's owner on charges of promoting narcotic and psychotropic substances, and their precursors," the website said.
The pendant was confiscated.
