Austrian cheese maker Prolactal is recalling eight types of cheese from Austrian and German stores, Austrian radio reported Sunday.
The company made the decision after the cheese types were found to be tainted with Listeria bacteria which are likely to cause illnesses first of all in pregnant women and newborns.
The cheese types will be sold no more, and those sold are subject to return.
