Despite bad weather, thousands of people attended the second Maslenitsa Festival in London on February 7, to sing alongside Russian singers and try Russian pancakes. That afternoon, the London weather surprised organizers and visitors when the sky cleared and the sun came out right before the festival. However, the fine weather only continued at the beginning of the festival, which took place on the bank of the Thames in Potters Fields Park, between London City Hall and Tower Bridge.
