U.S. skier Lindsey Vonn has won the Olympic gold medal in the women's Alpine skiing downhill at the Vancouver Winter Games.
The 25-year-old finished the distance in one minute 44.19 seconds. Her teammate Julia Mancuso came second, just 0.56 seconds behind the winner. Austria's Elisabeth Goergl took the bronze completing the downhill course in one minute 45.65 seconds.
