Norway's Emil Hegle Svendsen won gold in the Biathlon men's 20 km individual at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Canada's Vancouver.
The Norwegian made only one miss on the track in the Whistler Olympic Park and finished the distance in 48 minutes 22.5 seconds.
His compatriate five-time Olympic Champion Ole Einar Bjoerndalen finished the distance with the same time of 48 minutes 32 seconds with Belarus Sergey Novikov.
Bjoerndalen, who also previously won four silver and one bronze Olympic medals in his career, and Novikov were both awarded silver medals.
Russia's Evgeny Ustyugov finished in the fourth place showing the time of 49 minutes and 11.8 seconds.
