Switzerland 's Simon Ammann has taken his second Vancouver gold in the individual Large Hill ski jumping competition on the ninth day of the Games, winning a record fourth individual Olympic title.

Switzerland 's Simon Ammann has taken his second Vancouver gold in the individual Large Hill ski jumping competition on the ninth day of the Games, winning a record fourth individual Olympic title.

Ammann scored 283.6 points for the longest jumps in both rounds.

Poland's Adam Malysz was awarded the silver with the result of 269.4 points, and Gregor Schlierenzauer of Austria will take home the bronze medal scoring 262.2 points.

On the second day of the Olympics, Ammann won the gold after scoring 276.5 points for his 108.0-meter jump in the men's individual Normal Hill ski jumping event. Malysz took the silver and Schlierenzauer gained the bronze.

Amman won both hills in the 2002 Games in Salt Lake City.
