The board chairman of Russian oil and gas company Trans Nafta was found dead in his company office in the Russian capital on Saturday, a source in Moscow police said.
"The body of Vladimir Kondrachuk was discovered in his room in the evening with a gunshot wound," the source said.
"According to preliminary data, Kondrachuk committed suicide," the source said, adding that an investigation is underway.
Police have not made official comments.
