Canadian snowboarder Jasey Jay Anderson brought his Olympics-hosting country 12th gold medal after winning in men's parallel giant slalom.

Canadian snowboarder Jasey Jay Anderson brought his Olympics-hosting country 12th gold medal after winning in men's parallel giant slalom.

The silver went to Austria's Benjamin Karl, while the bronze was packed by French snowboarder Mathieu Bozzetto, who defeated Russia's Stanislav Detkov.

The Olympics host has of now won most of the gold medals, leaving behind closest contenders Germany with 10 and the United States with 9 gold medals.
