The Blessed Virgin Mary Temple, built in the 19th century in Shestakovo village is housed in the same building as an auto repair shop, and believers attending the church want the garage removed. Since 1995 the church has been a monument of federal significance and private property as well. The parishioners wrote a letter to Russian Prosecutor General’s Office requesting their help in resolving this complicated matter, but they have so far not got an answer.
