Jeff Bridges has been awarded Oscar in the Actor in Leading Role category for his part in Crazy Heart directed by Scott Cooper.
This is the first Oscar award for the 60-year-old actor, although he has been nominated for the award five-times in his career.
The other nominees in this category were George Clooney (Up in the Air), Colin Firth (A Single Man), Morgan Freeman (Invictus) and Jeremy Renner (The Hurt Locke).
