Russia's cross-country skiing athlete Irek Zaripov won gold medal in Men's 15 km Sitting at the 2010 Paralympics in Canada's Vancouver.
Zaripov finished the distance at the Whistler Paralympic Park in 41 minutes 01.01 seconds.
His countryman Roman Petushkov finished 10 seconds behind him to win the silver, while Enzo Masiello of Italy finished in the third place to bring his country the bronze medal.
Russia is currently leading in the overall medal standings of the 2010 Paralympics, boasting four gold, four silver and two bronze medals.
