Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin will meet with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on March 19, Putin's spokesman said on Thursday.
"The prime minister plans to meet with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in Moscow on Friday," Dmitry Peskov said.
Clinton's staff had earlier said that no meeting with Putin was planned because he would not be in Moscow.
Clinton held talks with Russian Foreign Ministry Sergei Lavrov earlier on Thursday and praised the recent development of bilateral relations.
