The Kaluga regional authorities and Berlin-Chemie, a member of the leading Italian pharmaceutical holding Menarini Group, agreed on Friday on the construction of a new pharmaceutical factory.
“The new factory will become a part of a full-cycle pharmaceutical unit in the Kaluga Region,” an official said. The Kaluga authorities will provide the necessary engineering infrastructure and staff education, he added.
Building will start in July 2010 and will last two years.
