One person was injured as a theater in downtown Moscow caught fire early on Wednesday, a law enforcement source said.
The fire at the Stanislavsky Drama Theater on Tverskaya Street in Moscow engulfed a small area and has already been extinguished.
A man jumped down from the building's roof before firefighters arrived. He was injured.
The Stanislavsky theater was founded in 1935. It also caught fire in 2003 and in 2006, when the fire-engulfed area totaled over 2,000 square meters, resulting in an almost complete destruction of the building.
