Dynamo Moscow and Lokomotiv Moscow fans have agreed to stay silent for the first 10 minutes of their derby clash on Sunday as a mark of respect for the 39 people who died in the twin suicide bombings on the city's metro system.
"Dynamo and Lokomotiv fans have reached a preliminary agreement not chant or cheer on their sides for the first 10 minutes of the match," the head of the national fans organization, Alexander Shprigin, told RIA Novosti.
Banners in honor of the dead will also be displayed at the Khimki Arena where the match is to take place.
Over 90 people were also injured when female suicide bombers detonated devices during the rush hour at the Lubyanka and Park Kultury metro stations.
