Another victim of bombings in the Moscow metro has died, bringing the total death toll to 40, a spokesman for the Russian health ministry said on Friday.
The 51-year-old man died in a central Moscow hospital on Friday. Another 84 people injured in Monday's terrorist attacks remain in the city's hospitals, the ministry said in a statement.
The statement said two more of the injured are in a critical condition and the lives of 41 victims are not under threat. The rest are suffering from serious injuries but their conditions are not critical.
The bombings took place at the Lubyanka and Park Kultury metro stations during the morning rush hour on Monday when two female suicide bombers blew themselves up.
