Russian judges will be allowed to use the Internet during trials if necessary, the Russian Supreme Court said on Tuesday.
The ruling stipulates that judges can, for example, study information from an Internet resource in real time.
All participants in the trial must be informed and the results recorded in the court record.
The ruling is part of a wider media law.
