A total of 10,500 servicemen will take part in the Victory Parade on Red Square on May 9.

Over 150 military vehicles, including legendary T-34 tanks, self-propelled СУ-100В artillery guns and a C-400 anti-missile system, took part in the Victory Parade rehearsal on Red Square in the evening of April 27.

A total of 10,500 servicemen will take part in the Victory Parade on Red Square on May 9. U.S., French and British serviceman did not participate in the rehearsal but will take part in the parade on Victory Day.

Some roads in downtown Moscow were closed for the rehearsal.

“It’s not every day you see tanks in downtown Moscow,” a local resident said.

At the rehearsal, much heavier banners are used than on Victory Day itself so that the flag-bearers’ hands do not shake on the day.
