One person was killed when unknown men armed with an assault riffle opened fire at a car in southwestern Moscow early on Thursday, a police source said.
"Unknown people in a dark-colored Zhiguli car opened fire at a Nissan Qashqai car at the junction between the Kedrov and Ivan Babushkin streets. The driver died as a result of the shooting," the source said.
Police reportedly rushed to the scene to investigate the accident.
