Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva will pay an official visit to Russia May 13-14, the presidential press service said.
The Brazilian leader is set to discuss bilateral cooperation, including as part of international organizations, as well as urgent issues on the international agenda.
The BRIC group comprising Brazil, Russia, India and China held a summit in the Brazilian capital in mid-April. Russian President Dmitry Medvedev attended it.
He said after the summit that BRIC is gradually becoming a global force capable of making concrete decisions.
