The militants who carried out a recent attack on a railway station in Russia's North Caucasus republic of Dagestan have been killed, a Federal Security Service (FSB) spokesperson said on Monday.
One person was killed and eight injured after a bomb placed in a litter bin exploded at Derbent train station on the evening of May 7.
The spokesman said that parts of an improvised explosive device identical to the one used in Derbent had been found in the house used by the militants, who were killed in an operation on Sunday.
In other news, the republic's interior ministry said that police had on Sunday detained a group of militants intending to carry out terrorist acts during May 9 Victory Day celebrations.
