Russia's state arms exporter Rosoboronexport has earned some $3.5 billion since the start of 2010, the company's CEO said Tuesday.
Rosoboronexport, established in 2000, has the exclusive right to supply to world markets all armaments produced by Russia's defense industry and designed for export.
General director Anatoly Isaikin also told journalists that the company will supply more of products in 2010 compared to 2009.
"We plan to supply more this year. There will be no lag, only growth," he said.
Isaikin earlier said $7.4 billion worth of armaments were sold abroad in 2009 - 10% more than in 2008. In 2009 contracts worth $15 billion were concluded.
