Two people have been killed when a series of blasts struck a black powder gun factory in U.S.'s New Hampshire, the Fox News television channel said on its website.
Three blasts hit the factory in the state's northern town of Colebrook shortly after 1:00 pm local time (8:00am GMT) on Friday, the TV channel said.
It was unclear whether anyone was injured as a result of the explosions and the fire that broke out at the factory following the blasts, Fox News said.
"We did hear two distinct bangs," Karen Ladd, editor and publisher of a local newspaper, was quoted by the BBC as saying.
"It knocked a picture off of my wall, right next to my desk. I will admit I panicked and I said, 'Get out!'" she said.
Police and rescuers are reportedly working at the site. The BBC said fire was still burning more than four hours after the first blast.
According to media reports, several dozens of local homes were evacuated as a result of the accident.
