* Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said:

- He is determined to question his Brazilian counterpart about the details of a nuclear fuel swap deal with Iran

- Russia's naval base in the city of Sevastopol in Ukraine's Crimea guarantees European security integrity

- Russia and Ukraine should create maximally favorable conditions for mutual investment

- He hoped Russia and Ukraine will draw up a cooperation plan for the next ten years

* The Russian and Ukrainian presidents honored the memory of the victims of the Stalin-era famine that killed millions across the Soviet Union, marking the end of a long-standing historical dispute between the two countries

* The Iranian, Brazilian, and Turkish foreign ministers signed an agreement on the exchange of low-enriched uranium to fuel Tehran's scientific research reactor, the AFP said
