The contact with the plane was reportedly lost at around 6.30am local time (1:00am GMT) as the left wing of the plane caught fire.
TV reports said rescuers had evacuated 60 bodies from the plane wreckage.
The airport has been closed and all flights have been cancelled following the crash.
