At least 32 people were killed after a bus and a truck collided early on Sunday on a highway in Fuxin City, northeast China's Liaoning Province, Xinhua news agency reported.
The truck went in the wrong direction after driving out a road maintenance area and collided with the bus head-on, with the collision igniting fire, Xinhua said.
Three people inside the truck and 28 passengers on the bus were killed on the scene. One of the 22 injured died in hospital, the agency said, referring to local authorities.
The four-lane highway linking Tieling and Chaoyang cities in Liaoning was undergoing road maintenance in the section where the accident happened, the local transport authority said.
