MOSCOW, May 23 (RIA Novosti) - Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin will hold a government meeting on Monday to discuss the scenarios for the country's social and economic development in the next three years, the government press office said on Sunday.
The government meeting will give a start to the preparation of the federal budget for 2011 and for the planned period of 2012-2013. After they are approved by the government, the economic forecast parameters prepared by the Economic Development Ministry will lay the basis for the country's budget.
The forecast of the country's social and economic development in the next three years envisages economic growth based on a relatively favorable situation on global raw material and capital markets, which will contribute to quick inventory recovery and stimulate consumer demand.
Under the basic scenario, Russia's GDP will grow 3.5-4.2% in 2011-2012 while industrial output will gradually expand to 3.3-4.2% by 2013.
