Cabin crews of U.K.'s largest air carrier, British Airways (BA), will go on another five-day strike on Sunday.
Tensions between BA and the Unite trade union began in 2009, when the company said it would reduce cabin crew for long-haul flights from 15 to 14, making 1,000 full-time cabin crew staff redundant. It also announced that 3,000 other employees will switch to part, while salary growth would be frozen through 2010.
The trade union has since held a number of walkouts, the latest held on May 24-28.
Employees returned to their workplaces on Saturday, but the air carrier still failed to perform all scheduled flights, mainly from London's Heathrow airport.
Unite plans to hold another five-day strike on June 5-9, if the sides fail to come to terms.
Talks between BA management and Unite are expected to resume in the near future.
